Damals, in der guten alten Zeit hatten wir Online-Moderatoren und Community Manager es noch mit frisch angelegten Profilen, Sockenpuppen oder plump eingestellter Werbung zu tun. Heute, da der Druck und das Wissen um Linkbuilding, Social Media und Mund-zu-Mund-Propaganda wächst, wird die Online-Werbung mittels wohlplatzierter Links zu einer Plage.

US-Behörden haben den Filehoster Megaupload geschlossen und vier Mitarbeiter des Unternehmens festgenommen, darunter auch Megaupload-Chef Kim Schmitz alias Kim Dotcom. Die Megaupload-Betreiber sollen rund 175 Millionen US-Dollar mit dem Dienst verdient haben.
